Information Technology Services (ITS) has completed auto-provisioning of Slack channels for spring classes. The auto-generation of the Zoom links for the spring classes began on Wednesday, January 4. Slack channels for the spring semester classes are already created.
What to Know
- All auto-provisioned Zoom links for the spring semester are available on Blackboard.usc.edu.
- Slack Channels for the classes were available as of 12/14/2022.
- There will be open office hours scheduled for Zoom and Slack:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 10-11 a.m. - The Slack slides cover basic Slack training and tips and tricks.
- The Zoom slides cover basic Zoom training and additional topics such as:
- How to start meetings from Blackboard.
- How to hide/disable Zoom Pro Link if the instructor chooses
- How to enable the Zoom Transcription Service VS Cloud recording transcription
- How to set in-meeting chat options and more host controls
